With a proud history spanning more than 40 years, Echelon Resources has evolved into a leading Australasian energy producer and explorer. Formerly known as NZ Oil & Gas (NZOG), the company built a strong reputation in the sector, but as societal perceptions around oil and gas exploration have shifted, and with a strategic decision to list solely on the ASX, it became clear that a rebrand was essential to reflect the company’s future-focused vision.


Having worked with NZOG since 2016, CRANKD was deeply familiar with the company’s identity, values, and aspirations. We played an instrumental role in transitioning NZOG into Echelon Resources, developing a comprehensive design system that ensured consistency across all brand collateral, from Annual Reports to investor materials.


This transformation wasn’t just about a new name; it was about repositioning Echelon as a modern, agile energy company that acknowledges the changing landscape while remaining committed to responsible resource exploration. With a strong visual identity and cohesive brand presence, Echelon is now positioned to confidently navigate the next era of energy supply.
